To give you an idea about my travel plans especially in the last two years, most of the ideas were dropped halfway due to “no-time”, “not-now”, “little girl we have”, “sure, next year”, and much more silly list of excuses. If you want lame excuses, contact me, I could give you a bunch in 5 seconds. 

As I write this, I also want you to know that my daughter is 20 months old and my husband is on travel already, which clearly states that my aspirations might remain just that too! However, I have blessed parents who love trips. These two senior citizens (my mother is almost there) enjoy their trips in a planned way! So I decided, mom comes and tells that baby girl and I accompany them for the first trip this year! Well, I let her rule when she comes with trip plans.

That’s how my first trip for this year was planned. I am revealing the place because I am super-excited to finally travel somewhere. I am traveling to the “Queen of Hill Stations”, Ooty! When my parents planned this, I realized how much I miss travel, the little girl always at home, her father away at work and me occupied with chores all day. I really need a break, a different outlook and many reasons to brighten my life and albums with memories that we will cherish after a few years! 

Coming to my aspirations, the list goes like this:

 First on my list right from the time I planned my honeymoon. We put it for a month after the wedding and ta-da, I was pregnant. So, I know I can’t “Goa it” like a newly wedded couple, but I still choose to enjoy it. I wish to travel during the Summer, but I know my little one will love the chill, so it’s after June. 

My favorite destination that I would love to visit once every year. I have visited this place for almost 3 times now. I love their food, the rains, the Namdroling Monastery, the composed music of Abbey falls when I walk all the way to it, the hair pin bends which gives me a jerk every time, the zip lining and Thala Kauveri. I love to visit the small temples they have there and hear about the histories in tamil. They present it with beautiful words, half of which is ancient.  

I am pulled to it after seeing a picture from my friend’s recent travel. I was amazed at the beauty of this place. My parents love Rajasthan and talk about it as one of the best trips. I must go and see why!

Of course, for the beaches. Though this is one of the plans that stand cancelled due to long road travel, we will look for other mode of travel now. 

Again one of the options we had for Honeymoon. I am scared of water, but love to swim. You see my point why I wanted to visit Andaman. I hope to share so much after the visit.

Since my husband is at work there now, I would visit it. My sister already has plans without even knowing my travel date. I am sure she knows the place better and I will trust her to be my tour guide.

These are the places I would love to visit in 2019. If I don’t, then I would still make it happen in 2020! 😉
