I'm glad you wrote this post, it must be such a big burden off your head. Having family around sure is a big help and you are indeed blessed. Everything you have listed here is what I fear about being a mother someday, but I also know a fact that we I get to the bridge I will learn to cross it. You are doing really good, you should be proud of yourself.

Illakiya is such a beautiful name and I'm sure your daughter is more beautiful than that. Daughters are precious little angels and I'm so happy for you 🙂

Ilakkiya is such a pretty name! How old is she now? Good move on that mattress on the floor. I agree it is fun, and a relief to think she won't roll off and hurt herself. Just today, my neighbor's 8-month-old calmly crawled out of their house while her grandmother ran towards the staircase to give the grandfather his lunchbox! Imagine the shock she got when she turned and found her happily smiling up at her! Whew!

Yep, comparisons are the worst thing ever. Always remember you are doing your best 🙂 Just managing being a new mom is a full-time job. Make sure you enjoy every moment watching your baby grow. The days pass too soon!
