Bliss for Bike Buffs

Heaven! That’s how a hardcore bike enthusiast would describe General Patters Road. Any automobile spare parts or accessories, you get it all here.

I call myself a ‘bike lover’ but a walk through General Patters Road revealed my ignorance of the subject. In order to be prepared, I asked for advice from a couple of my bike-crazy pals who proceeded to give me a full account of this place which is a haven for bike enthusiasts. But nothing prepared me for what I was about to witness. Spare parts and accessories ranging from the bumpers to the headlights can be found here.

General Patters Road or G.P road is located just off Mount Road and is the ultimate place to head to if you are looking to remodel your bike. The two-wheeler spare parts trade is flourishing here with gusto. If you are tired of the way your bike looks after a point of time, you can remodel your bike to the likes of the sports bikes. “You can either change the whole body of the regular bike to look like a sports bike just by fitting in the big fuel tank or add a new look by changing the head doom. The shops at G.P. Road offer you many sizes and shapes of head doom so that you can remodel your bike to look like a Hayabusa or a BMW,” .

What’s more, you could even get the ‘Vroom’ sound of a hardcore sports bike by adding a diffuser. You can paint your bike in myriad shades with unique designs. Even the tyres can be replaced to replicas of sports bikes. Moreover, the shops have booklets, withpictures so you can choose how you would like your bike to look like after remodelling.
