Two or three months back! I have used my computer the whole day and night to finish a few freelancing articles.

DailyChallenge.com – I love the energy of the people there and that’s my constant source of encouragement!

Do you have a favorite day of the week? Why?

Thursday! Sai Baba and Hanuman day! Some nice feeling! 🙂 I always relate everyday to some good moments! 🙂

Did you ever watch Saturday morning cartoons? What was your favorite? 

I used to as a kid! Now, I do not watch the TV as much as I used to! I don’t remember the timings! Maybe Swat Cats or Tom and Jerry or even Bugs Bunny! 😉

Were you a comic book fan? 

Yes, I am! Till now! Twinkle, Tin Tin, Amar Chitra Kadha, Calvin & Hobbes and many more!

Did you earn an allowance when you were a kid? How much? Was it tied to chores?

Yes! 😉 My grandmother used to give my sister and me some pocket money when we buy her things from the shop! 🙂

What is the fanciest type of car you’ve ridden in?  What occasion? 

Jeep! My cousin’s jeep and I loved the Gypsy! We are upgrading our Maruthi 800 to the sporty type.

Whats your favorite sport to watch? 

Motorbiking! Just for the thrill!

Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket match! Just for Rahul Dravid!

I haven’t watched many since Child’s Play!

The Shawshank Redemption and most K. Balachander movies!

About how many times do you go to the movies a month?  

I don’t visit the cinemas much! The last movie I watched at the cinema theater was Irudhi Chutru (Final Round), a movie about Indian Women Boxing!
 Favorite movie, which one came to your head first? 

Michael Madhana Kama Rajan (A comedy about quadruplets). It’s a 1981 movie, but I love to watch it till date! Another movie which I equally adore is Kadhalika neramillad (No time for Love)

What if your life was like a movie? What type of movie would it be? 

A romance story with a happy ending!

Do you like long series movies, like “Lord of the Rings”? 

I have heard a lot about it. I haven’t read the books or seen the movies yet!

Meal Skipper Meme

1. Do you skip meals sometimes? 
A: I rarely skip meals. Instead I eat it late! 😐 Is this counted?

2. Last time you overate? 
A: Yesterday evening, I had a box of potato chips and some sweets! That’s overeating for me!

3. Do you like Mexican food? 
A: I haven’t tasted any yet!

4. Do you like Chinese food? 
A: I love Chinese dishes. I love Chicken Fried Rice and Lollipop!

5. Do you like Italian food? 
A: Pasta, Indian style! I do not know many dishes that are spicy in Italian! If Pizza is Italian, I like a few of them, but again that’s a rarity.

6. Do you like American food? 
A: Most junk! Once in a while the burgers, but very rarely.

7. Have you ever been on a diet? 
A: If you can call cutting down oily foods as diet, then yes! My skin is prone to acne and these are my favourite foods and I had to cut them down immediately, but I cut them gradually and that has helped! 🙂

8. Do you like vegetables? 
A: Yes! We cook and eat most vegetables. Though I don’t like a few, if it is well-cooked, I wouldn’t mind eating them! 😉

9. On a scale from 1 to 5 how much do you eat a day (1= not eating, 5= eating 3 meals)? 
A: 5= I eat 3 meals a day 😀
For a moment, I thought 5 meant eating 5 meals a day. 😉 The one many people suggest!

10. Do you think you eat healthily? 
A: It depends on what you call healthy. To me, healthy means, eating 3/4th of your actual capacity and eating at the right time. I prefer local foods over imported anytime. To me, I eat 50% healthy foods.

11. Do you think you are ugly? 
A: No! 🙂

12. Do you like your hair? 
A: Yes!! 🙂

13. Do you like the way you look? 
A: Yes! 🙂


14. Would you want to change anything? 
A: Yes, it’s a personal change! I want to see myself “fit” within a year, especially my biceps! 😉

15. Do you ever wear a lucky colour? 
A:  I don’t have a specific lucky colour! Colours that suit me are much better for me.

16. Do you care how other people see you?
A:  I did! Now, just changed a bit, I just listen to the comments of my parents and very close friends.

17. Do you or have you ever worn braces? 
A: As a teenager, I always wanted to, but, lucky enough not to wear it.

18. Do you wear glasses and/or contacts? 
A: Glasses! I am allergic to contacts.

19. Do you want to gain weight, lose weight, or stay about the same? 
A: I want to gain only 2 to 3 kilograms extra, I like to stay about the same.

20. What do you do if you have the flu? 
A: I love soups. My mom’s soups. Otherwise, I only sleep a lot than usual. Food restrictions make me think about my heavy intake at normal times.

21. How many tries to get your drivers license? 
A: I got it the first time, but I am not an excellent driver. I prefer two wheelers over cars, as of now.

22. Are you saving up for anything in the future? 
A: Yes, I am!

23. Do you have a lot of spare time? 
A: On a most productive day, I would get half  to one hour. On the most laziest day, my entire day goes by just like that!

24. Do you consider yourself a responsible person? 
A: Yes, but I want to become better than who I am today!

25. Do you consider yourself a lazy person?
A: Yes, on some days!

A: If this means, At the moment, then I am in the hall and mom is in the kitchen! It is Diwali weekend and my mom made delicious mutton kuruma this morning! 

2. Do you show your teeth when you smile, or do you prefer smiling with your lips closed? 
A:  Family photos and I give my 1km smile. I prefer smiling with lips closed for acquaintances

3.  Would you rather be told the truth, even if it isn’t what you want to hear? 
A: Yes I prefer knowing the truth even if it takes time for me to come to terms with it.
 
4. What is something that you plan to buy, as soon as you’ve saved up the money for it? 
A: A Laptop

5. Do you play Sudoku? 
A: Yes I do and I struggle clearing the critical level at a regular pace.
 
6.  Have you ever had a migraine? 
A: No, but my mother gets it once in a while and we try home made recipes nowadays, earlier she suffered a lot! 

7. What was the last book you read for pleasure? 
A:  I read a detective story that was filled with humor, but I am trying to recollect the name of the author so that i can share it with my friend, but just couldn’t.
 
8. What was the last item of clothing you purchased for yourself? 
A: It’s Diwali in India and just last week I purchased a Saree for me and gifts for family. Yesterday my sister gifted me another beautiful chudidar top!

A:  No!

A:  My man!

11. How close is your family? 
A: We have gone through quite a lot of trouble in the past, if i compare this with the past, i must say we are closer than before! And I am thankful for that! 🙂

A:  Most truth are said in jokes! And for the serious things said earlier, we end up laughing now! 😛

A: Undoubtedly! I am better at this than before! 😀

A: Undoubtedly both! I have suffered from both due to travel.

1. If you were trapped in a room with the person who asked this for 24 hours, what would you do? The answer cannot be romantic or sexual.

A.  That would be a strange one for a start and a lovely experience later I believe. Since we would be from different parts of the world, We must have a lot to know about each other. Like a bloggers day out! After all communication is the most powerful instrument.

2. If you could learn any language instantly, what would it be?

A.  I like French for its beauty, but i prefer German! 😉

3. If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A.  I have one book named the lightwing and the dreamwalker. I have read it twice till now and both the times it has given me a different view about myself. Otherwise, it’s The power of now, its so powerful and so present that I forget what I read the moment I move to the next page. Some of the slogans from sivapuranam.

4. Favorite song lyric?

A.  Way tooo many. To be specific I love Michael Jackson’s songs, every song has a beauty to itself. And Westlife has set my standards very high about guys and love.

5. Favorite Albums

A.  In India every movie has 5 to 6 songs. So there are so many albums very close to my heart. A.R. RAHMAN, Deva, Illayaraja, Anirudh are some famous Indian music directors and many many more!

6. Which time of day would you say is best for you work-wise?
A.  Anytime that is calm. Early morning before 8 or 10 and evening after 5, if I am at work.

7. Favorite city that you’ve visited?

A.  Mysore

A. Well lots in the list in India especially the north and many in the south as well.

9. If you could donate $10,000 to charity, what charity would you pick?

A.  I haven’t visited much places. But I have been a part of an NGO in Bangalore, Samarthanam Trust, they have been so helpful during my tough time. Its them, they help the blind to study and get jobs and provide residence too.

10. What is one book you wish you could get all your friends to read?

A.  Many, Robin Sharma’s books, Ruskin Bond’s Funny side up and Freedom is not free by Shiv Khera

11. What is one movie you wish you could get all your friends to watch?

A.  Every K.Balachander’s movie because I am currently watching these. Otherwise, the usual list that pops up in the IMDB list.

12. What do you think people assume about you from first glance?

A.  People have said they assume I don’t talk much. Well, they also think I am arrogant. I laugh..

13. If you could play any musical instrument, what would it be?

A.  I love to listen to anyone who plays the guitar, but I love to play the piano.

14. What is your favorite item of clothing?

A.  Skirts and shorts. Learning to drape the saree properly.

A.  Subash Chander my blogger friend. But he has stopped updating his blog now.

16. If you could create one thing, what would it be?

A.  The mindset to handle any failure that comes. Even better, the school that teaches children how to handle failure in life.

A.  Maybe The Journey Of Finding Myself, with the help of everyone around

A.  My cousin sister. I just did that today. After a long time felt happy.

A.  My aunty before I left for the day from my cousin’s birthday today.
